Raising from the Swiss underground party and squating scene, Jolly has been involved over 10 years in different musical and cultural-political contexts. As a part of the music and publishing collective Kashev Tapes the values that move Jolly's approach stay distant from conventional and commercial standards. With an understanding of musical references and styles in techno music, the release on Black Mojito shows an example of his eclectic craft. His last year was busy with releasing his debut EP on Kashev Tapes, as well with tracks released on Deestricted, Terenor Records and on the Institut für Zukunft imprint. leftist dance music culture and collaborational artistic exchange remain as important part of his practice, as well as political radical ideas and that's the reason why he's now on Black Mojito.
